Manchester United are reportedly preparing a £15m bid for Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman.
The 22-year-old, dubbed 'the next Roy Keane', is captain of PSV Eindhoven and has earned 11 caps for the Netherlands.
According to The Mirror, Sir Alex Ferguson's scouts have been monitoring Strootman's progress over the last 12 weeks and a deal is nearing completion.
The Eredivisie star only moved to the Phillips Stadion last year from FC Utrecht.
