Man Utd 'deny Ozil interest'

Manchester United have reportedly denied that they are in the running to sign Real Madrid midfielder Mesut Ozil.

The Premier League champions are said to have made contact with the German international, who is believed to be in advanced talks with United's league rivals Arsenal.

Despite suggestions that United are prepared to scupper the Gunners' deal for Ozil, the North West club have denied interest in the player, according to Sky Sports News.

Madrid are said to have agreed a fee in the region of £36m with Arsenal.
