Manchester United are reportedly told that it will cost £35m to sign Eintracht Frankfurt forward Andre Silva in the summer.

Manchester United have reportedly been handed a boost in their efforts to sign a new striker during the summer transfer window.

With the future of Edinson Cavani in doubt and Anthony Martial having failed to make a sustained impact down the middle, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to bring in a fresh face ahead of next season.

While Erling Braut Haaland and Harry Kane have been suggested as potential options, United may look to sign a cheaper alternative.

According to Frankfurter Rundschau, The Premier League giants have been told that Eintracht Frankfurt forward Andre Silva will be available for a fee in the region of £35m.

The Portugal international has enjoyed a terrific campaign in the Bundesliga, contributing 25 goals and four assists from 29 appearances.

The report adds that the 25-year-old is expected to depart Deutsche Bank Park in the coming months.
