Manchester United are confident that both Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot will sign new long-term deals at the club, according to a report.

Manchester United are reportedly confident that both Marcus Rashford and Diogo Dalot will sign new long-term deals with the 20-time English champions in the not too distant future.

The duo are both out of contract next June, although the club have the option of activating one-year extensions, with would take them to the end of the 2023-24 campaign.

Rashford struggled during the 2021-22 campaign, only managing five goals in all competitions, but he has been in impressive form this term, scoring seven goals and registering three assists in 15 appearances.

The 25-year-old hit the winner against West Ham United in the Premier League on Sunday, which took him onto 100 goals for the club in all competitions.

According to 90min, Man United are not panicking when it comes to the Englishman's future, with the club confident that he will sign a long-term deal at Old Trafford.

The report also claims that the Red Devils are expecting Dalot to sign a new contract despite the ongoing speculation surrounding his future.

The 23-year-old has started all 17 of Man United's matches during the 2022-23 campaign and has also been named in the XI against Real Sociedad on Thursday night.

Dalot scored his first goal of the campaign against Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League last week, and he recently expressed his happiness at Old Trafford.

However, the Portugal international's contract situation has led to speculation surrounding his future, with AC Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid said to be monitoring developments.

As it stands, foreign clubs would be able to approach Dalot at the start of 2023 to discuss a pre-contract.

Luke Shaw, Fred and David de Gea will also see their current deals expire next summer, although the club have the option to activate one-year extensions on all three contracts.

Cristiano Ronaldo also has the option for a further year, but the Portugal international is widely expected to leave the Red Devils on a free transfer in search of pastures new.

Axel Tuanzebe, Phil Jones and Tom Heaton are also out of contract next June, with the trio set to depart.

Alejandro Garnacho's current agreement is also due to expire at the end of the campaign, but Man United are said to be in talks with the teenager's representatives over a new long-term deal.

Man United have another four matches before the campaign is halted for the World Cup, facing Real Sociedad, Aston Villa (twice) and Fulham, and the club are expected to make decisions in terms of new contracts during the break.
