Riyad Mahrez's agent plays down Manchester United transfer rumours

The agent of Leicester City winger Riyad Mahrez has played down reports linking his client with a move to Manchester United.

The 24-year-old, who has made five assists in 10 Premier League games this season, is believed to have recently been watched by scouts.

Representatives of the Red Devils were reportedly in attendance to watch Mahrez score twice in a 3-2 triumph over West Bromwich Albion at the weekend.

After rumours came to light, Mahrez's agent Kamel Bengougam told ESPN: "I don't have any contact with Manchester United about Mahrez. He is only focused on this season with Leicester City."

Mahrez has been a Leicester player since 2014.
