Manchester United's Will Keane joins Sheffield Wednesday on loan

Manchester United have confirmed that striker Will Keane has joined Sheffield Wednesday on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old, who made his senior debut for the Red Devils back in 2011, was reportedly wanted by Championship sides Reading and Blackpool.

However, United have announced on Twitter that Keane will move to Hillsborough to compete for the Owls until the end of the 2014-15 campaign.

Keane has not appeared for the first team since his debut almost four years ago.
