Juventus to offer Man Utd Mandzukic in Darmian bid?

Juventus are reportedly considering offering Mario Mandzukic as part of a deal to bring Manchester United full-back Matteo Darmian to Turin this summer.

Darmian is understood to be surplus to requirements at Old Trafford having made just seven appearances for the club last season, only three of which came after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge in December.

New Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is in the market for a new full-back due to the uncertain future of Joao Cancelo, and the former Chelsea boss is thought to have earmarked Darmian as a possible target.

The Daily Mail reports that Mandzukic could be used as part of any deal, although United could reject that proposal due to the 33-year-old striker not fitting with the profile of Solskjaer's desired transfer targets.

Juve are expected to face competition for Darmian's signature from Inter Milan, whose new manager Antonio Conte is a long-term admirer of the Italy international.
