Juventus, Manchester United 'in Fabinho battle'

Juventus and Manchester United will battle for the signature of Monaco's Fabinho at the end of the 2017-18 campaign, according to a report.

Juventus and Manchester United will reportedly go head to head for the signature of Monaco's Fabinho at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.

Fabinho was strongly linked with a move away from Monaco last summer, and United were one of the clubs said to be in the hunt for a player that is capable of operating in both defence and midfield.

According to Tuttosport, Fabinho will look for a move away from his Ligue 1 club after the 2018 World Cup, and Juventus and United are the two clubs currently showing the strongest interest.

Fabinho, who is a four-time Brazil international, played a key role in Monaco landing the French title last season.

The 24-year-old has also been in impressive form for the Ligue 1 outfit this term, scoring twice and providing one assist in 23 appearances in all competitions.
