Eric Bailly 'passes Manchester United medical'

Villarreal defender Eric Bailly reportedly passes a medical ahead of his proposed move to Manchester United.

Villarreal defender Eric Bailly has reportedly passed a medical ahead of his proposed move to Manchester United.

The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a summer switch to Old Trafford, and reports earlier today suggested that the move could be completed within 24 hours.

The Ivory Coast international has now taken another step towards becoming Jose Mourinho's first signing as United manager by passing his medical at the club, according to Sky Sports News.

The deal bringing Bailly to Old Trafford is thought to be worth £30m, just 18 months after he joined Villarreal for around £4.5m.

United are also understood to be interested in bringing free agent striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to the club this summer.
