Barcelona could attempt to sign Manchester United attacker Angel Gomes, according to a report.

Barcelona are reportedly closely monitoring Angel Gomes's situation at Manchester United.

The 19-year-old's existing deal at Old Trafford is due to expire at the end of June, and there has still not been an announcement from the club regarding a possible extension.

Chelsea have been credited with an interest in the teenager amid the speculation surrounding his future, but according to Marca, Barca are also weighing up a move.

Gomes has featured on six occasions for United during the 2019-20 campaign, although he has not been involved for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side since the Premier League restart.

The England Under-20 international has allegedly been training with the club's first team over the last month, though, suggesting that he is in his manager's thinking in the final weeks of the campaign.

A report earlier this month claimed that the Red Devils had offered the attacker a new £25,000-a-week deal.
