Sports Mole looks at how Leicester City could line up for Sunday's Premier League clash with Manchester United at the King Power Stadium.

Leicester City host Manchester United in the Premier League on Sunday evening, with the Foxes desperately needing a win to boost their chances of survival in the top division.

The hosts have lost six matches in a row, and things are looking bleak for Ruud van Nistelrooy's side in their battle against relegation.

Leicester have three possible absentees for Sunday's game, with Harry Souttar and Abdul Fatawu both out for the hosts, while Odsonne Edouard is also a doubt with an undisclosed injury.

Having switched to five at the back for their narrow defeat away to Chelsea last weekend, van Nistelrooy is likely to continue with a back five for another week after a solid defensive display from his side at Stamford Bridge.

In goal, Mads Hermansen will keep his place in the side, with the Danish keeper saving a penalty last weekend from Chelsea's Cole Palmer.

Ricardo Pereira returned from a lengthy absence last weekend, as he came off the bench in the defeat at Stamford Bridge, and after four months out, he is unlikely to be rushed back into a start.

Luke Thomas was singled out for praise for his performance last weekend, so he is expected to start once again on the left of a central three with Conor Coady and Wout Faes.

Victor Kristiansen did not put in the best performance at Chelsea, and January recruit Woyo Coulibaly could come into a wing-back role on the right, while James Justin could switch to the left-hand side that Kristiansen played on last weekend.

In midfield, van Nistelrooy appears to prefer Wilfred Ndidi and Boubakary Soumare in the central positions, therefore, the pair are expected to both retain their places in the team from their last outing.

Bilal El Khannouss and Patson Daka were chosen to play behind Jamie Vardy last weekend, and Leicester offered little attacking threat, despite a defensive improvement in London.

Daka and Vardy have not started together all that often this season, so Facundo Buonanotte could step into the same role alongside El Khannouss, just behind Vardy.

Leicester City possible starting lineup: Hermansen; Justin, Thomas, Coady, Faes, Coulibaly; Ndidi, Soumare, El Khannouss, Buonanotte; Vardy
