Ashley Young: 'We can still win Premier League title'

Manchester United winger Ashley Young believes that the club's rivals would be wrong to write them off after just three games of the Premier League season.

Manchester United winger Ashley Young has insisted that the club won't be panicking over their disappointing start to the season.

United have failed to register a win in their first three fixtures in the Premier League, while they have also been knocked out of the League Cup after being thrashed 4-0 by MK Dons.

However, despite failing to impress in the first month of the season, Young believes that the Old Trafford outfit shouldn't be written off at this stage of the campaign.

The 29-year-old is quoted by the Daily Star as saying: "In previous seasons when we haven't started the season so well, we've gone on to win the league. People have written us off already but everyone here knows you don't write off a club like United.

"People can say what they want but internally, we all know exactly what we're striving to do, what goals we've set and what we want to achieve. There is no point panicking after a handful of games."

United play host to Queens Park Rangers on Sunday afternoon.
