Spanish-speaking players 'unhappy at Manchester United'

Manchester United's Spanish-speaking players feel that 'preferential treatment' is being given to the English players in the squad, according to a report.

Manchester United's Spanish-speaking players reportedly feel that 'preferential treatment' is being given to the club's English contingent.

While Luke Shaw, Phil Jones, Chris Smalling and Ashley Young have all recently signed new contracts at United, the same cannot be said for David de Gea, Ander Herrera and Juan Mata.

Herrera and Mata are both expected to leave the club on free transfers this summer, while United face a tough task to convince De Gea to pen a fresh deal amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid.

According to the Daily Mail, head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is facing 'a problem of dressing-room harmony' with the club's Spanish players believing that they are 'being treated differently'.

Meanwhile, the report has claimed that Alexis Sanchez has also grown frustrated, with United seemingly attempting to return to the model that brought success under Sir Alex Ferguson.

United - dumped out of the Champions League on Tuesday night - travel to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon looking to return to the top four.
