Ralf Rangnick is reportedly yet to speak to incoming Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag.

It was announced last month that the Dutchman would be the new manager at Old Trafford, with the current Ajax head coach set to take over in the summer.

The 52-year-old, who has signed a three-year deal with an option for a further 12 months, is reportedly yet to speak to Rangnick.

"I'm pretty sure he's got my phone number, he's got another couple of games to play with Ajax, we have another three games to play here," Rangnick told reporters.

"Whenever he wants to speak with me and exchange our opinions, I'm more than happy to do that."

Rangnick, meanwhile, will move into a consultancy role when Ten Hag takes over, although it has been announced that the 63-year-old will undergo that job alongside his new role as Austrian national team head coach.

The current United boss will be focused on Monday's Premier League fixture at Old Trafford, with the Red Devils set to face Brentford.
