Ryan Giggs named best ever Premier League player

Manchester United midfielder Ryan Giggs has been named the best ever player in the Premier League by an expert panel.

The former Wales international is the only player to have featured in every single one of the 20 seasons so far, also managing to score at least one goal in each camapign.

As a result, he is also the Premier League's record appearance holder.

The 38-year-old beat off competition from the likes of former United teammate Eric Cantona and Dennis Bergkamp to claim the award.
