Steve Bruce: 'David Moyes will succeed at Manchester United in time'

Hull City boss Steve Bruce believes that David Moyes will turn things around at Manchester United if he is afforded the time.

The champions have struggled to adapt to life under Moyes following the retirement of Sir Alex Ferguson, and the Scot's side are currently seventh in the Premier League - 15 points behind leaders Chelsea.

However, the Tigers manager has said that Moyes will eventually get it right at Old Trafford.

"He'll turn it round, even top-class managers like David can struggle at times," Bruce told reporters.

"But make no mistake, they'll turn it around. If he's given time, with his experience he will turn it round. It's been very difficult, and it is always tough to turn it round in a few weeks.

"You have your principles and your beliefs and I'm sure Manchester United will give him the time. In the past they've done that and I'm sure it will be the same with Moyes."

United were held to a 2-2 draw with rock-bottom Fulham on Sunday.
