Andreas Pereira has declared himself "very happy" at Manchester United and is hopeful of repaying manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's faith in him.
The Brazilian midfielder has featured 21 times in all competitions for United this season - 12 of those appearances coming as Premier League starts.
Having recently lost his place in the side, Pereira produced one of his best displays of the campaign in Wednesday's 3-0 EFL Cup quarter-final win against Colchester United.
Pereira is now targeting a run in the side, believing that he has the abilities to help break teams down.
"I enjoy it a lot," he told MUTV when asked about his role in the side against defensive opposition.
"When we have the ball and can keep possession, that's where my qualities are. So I'm happy I could help the team a lot today.
"I'm very very happy now at this moment and my family are happy. The manager has the confidence in me and I just want to show that on the pitch."
Speaking earlier this month, Solskjaer heaped praise on Pereira by insisting the 23-year-old is "improving all the time".
