Anderson frustrated with injury problems

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has admitted that he understands the frustration of the club's supporters regarding his injury problems.

Anderson featured in only 18 Premier League appearances last season, making a total of 46 matches in three years, but the Brazil international has revealed that he wants to remain at Old Trafford to try to regain his place.

The 25-year-old told the Manchester Evening News: "It's not just the fans who've been frustrated, I've been frustrated.

"I never asked to be injured, I don't want to be injured. I want to play every week for Manchester United, I love being here."

The former Porto player signed for Untied in 2007.
