Anderson confident in ability to be Manchester United success

Anderson believes that he is ready to come back and perform for Manchester United after suffering a bad knee injury last season.

Manchester United midfielder Anderson has declared that he is still confident in his ability to perform at the highest level despite his injury problems.

The 24-year-old only managed to make 16 appearances last season due to a cruciate injury.

The Brazilian says that he believes he can return to help the Red Devils win back the Premier League title this season.

Anderson told the Daily Star: "I think everybody knows that if I don't have these injuries I can beone of the best midfield players in England, but when I have an injury I can do nothing.

"We know I've had many problems at Manchester United but now I am back after 25 days of holiday and the knee feels good."

Anderson has already played three times during the club's pre-season tour as he looks to build fitness and form ahead of United's opening game against Everton on August 20.
