Tuesday's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup: Kalidou Koulibaly, Jadon Sancho, Douglas Costa

Sports Mole rounds up the latest transfer talk for Manchester United on Tuesday, August 18.

The summer transfer window has now begun, with rumours and speculation continuing to swirl as Manchester United eye possible reinforcements.

The Red Devils brought in Bruno Fernandes and Odion Ighalo in the final days of the winter window but are still expected to be active in the summer as they aim to restore their former glories.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up the latest news on possible comings and goings from Old Trafford.

Tuesday morning's Manchester United transfer talk news roundup:

Arsenal agree deal in principle for Lille defender Gabriel Magalhaes?

Arsenal reportedly have an agreement in place with Lille for in-demand central defender Gabriel Magalhaes.

The 22-year-old has been given the green light to depart the Stade Pierre Mauroy this summer if the right offer is made.

A number of clubs have showed an interest in the Brazilian defender, with Napoli rumoured to have been on the brink of signing him as a direct replacement for Kalidou Koulibaly.

Manchester United, Paris Saint-Germain and Everton are also believed to be weighing up bids, but The Telegraph claims that Arsenal are now closing in on the signing of Gabriel in a deal worth around £27m.

The same report indicates that skipper Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is also on the verge of penning fresh terms at the Emirates Stadium in a huge double boost for the Gunners.

Borussia Dortmund 'still waiting for Jadon Sancho bid from Manchester United'

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly yet to receive an official offer from Manchester United for star attacker Jadon Sancho.

The England international is rumoured to be United's top target this summer after lighting up the Bundesliga once again in 2019-20.

However, BVB last week ruled out a transfer after the Red Devils failed to meet their deadline for an agreement to be reached.

A big offer from United may force Dortmund's hand, but Sky Sports News claims that the German club are still waiting for a bid of any sort to be tabled.

The same report indicates that the 20-year-old is valued in the region of €120m (£108m) by Dortmund as he has three years to run on his contract.

Sancho was on the scoresheet for Lucien Favre's side on Sunday as they romped past Austria Wien 11-2 in a pre-season friendly.
