Manchester United's Luke Shaw will again be unavailable for Saturday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

Manchester United interim head coach Ralf Rangnick has said that Luke Shaw will again be unavailable for Saturday's Premier League clash with Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford.

Shaw was absent against Manchester City in the league last weekend after testing positive for COVID-19, while teammate Raphael Varane also missed out on the Manchester derby for the same reason.

Varane has been back in training this week and is set to be available for the 20-time English champions against Antonio Conte's side in the key top-four battle.

However, Rangnick has revealed that Shaw is still testing positive for coronavirus, so the England international will not be available for selection against the North London club.

"Luke Shaw will miss out. Until yesterday, still testing positive for Covid," Rangnick told reporters.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani are set to return to the Man United squad this weekend, but Scott McTominay is unlikely to be available, with the Scotland international carrying a calf problem.
