Manchester United will be without six first-team players for Wednesday's Premier League contest with Leeds United, including Anthony Martial and Casemiro.

Manchester United will be without the services of six first-team players for Wednesday's Premier League contest with Leeds United at Old Trafford.

Casemiro will begin his three-match suspension following the red card that the experienced midfielder picked up in the 2-1 win over Crystal Palace on Saturday afternoon.

There had been suggestions that the Red Devils were considering appealing the ban, but head coach Erik ten Hag revealed during his pre-match press conference that would not be the case.

"Consider? Yeah. Still, for me, it's not the right decision [to send Casemiro off] but I don't think we have a chance in a legal process," Ten Hag told reporters, as he confirmed that the 20-time English champions would not be launching an appeal despite being unhappy with the decision.

Casemiro received a red card following an incident with Will Hughes, which saw the Brazilian place his hands around the neck of the Palace midfielder.

Man United will also again be without the services of Donny van de Beek, who is out for the season following knee surgery, while Christian Eriksen will be missing until the end of April due to an ankle issue.

Scott McTominay is still missing with a muscular problem, while Anthony Martial has suffered a fresh setback, with the France international being ruled out of the game with Leeds.

Ten Hag also confirmed that Antony would be absent against the Whites, although the Dutchman did not reveal the nature of the fitness problem that the attacker had suffered.

"They [Martial and McTominay] are not involved tomorrow," said the Dutchman. "And the same with Antony dos Santos. He is also not available for tomorrow so we have to sort that out."

Ten Hag, however, has insisted that he will not make any excuses over the absentees, with the head coach only focusing on the match itself.

"I'm the manager. I always have to play with the players who are available. We have a squad, we have many good players available in that squad, who are not always in the starting XI. So, others [will] get the chance and I have to do it," he added during Tuesday's press conference.

"After the game, I can't say Casemiro is not there, Anthony Martial is not there. No, we have to win. This squad, all players in [it], are Man United capable, so they have to perform tomorrow and we have to win the games, no matter who is coming on the pitch."

Man United have won each of their last four games in all competitions, while they currently sit third in the Premier League table, three points behind second-placed Manchester City and two ahead of Newcastle United in fourth.
