Watford manager Roy Hodgson has provided an update on the fitness of his squad heading into their upcoming Premier League fixture with Manchester United.

Watford manager Roy Hodgson has provided an injury update ahead of their Premier League fixture with Manchester United.

The Hornets have only managed to win once throughout their five fixtures in February, which has left the club 19th in the Premier League table, four points adrift of safety.

"Nothing particularly new. Luckily, you know, most of the players have come through. Of course, there's always one or two that you are assessing, because they were two tough games at [Aston] Villa and then against [Crystal] Palace. So there is still a few that are suffering from fatigue," Hodgson told the press.

"So I must say I should probably leave the team selection until the last minute just to see how well people recover. But really, in terms of injury, we have still got [Nicolas] Nkoulou basically who is injured. [Samuel] Kalu, who is suffering from a slight ankle injury. I do not think there is too many more apart from that."

Hodgson also revealed that Tom Cleverley and Joshua King should be available for this fixture, but they will both be monitored for fatigue ahead of kick-off.

Watford did manage to pick up three points the last time they faced Manchester United, defeating the Red Devils 4-1 in November, but they followed that up with a 12-game run without a victory.
