Sports Mole rounds up all of Manchester United's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their Premier League contest with Chelsea.

Manchester United will be bidding to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they take on Chelsea at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

The Red Devils suffered a 1-0 loss at Newcastle United in the league on Saturday, with the result dropping them into seventh position in the table.

Erik ten Hag's side have already lost six times in the league this season, and they will be welcoming a Chelsea side that managed to record a 3-2 win over Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

Casemiro picked up a hamstring injury during the EFL Cup defeat to Newcastle United earlier this month, and the experienced midfielder will be on the sidelines until at least Christmas.

Malacia is also still on the sidelines due to a knee injury which has required two separate operations, but he is due to return to action in the early stages of 2024.

Lisandro Martinez

Martinez is recovering from a second operation on a foot injury which he initially suffered in April, and Ten Hag recently said that the Argentine would not be available before Christmas.

Jadon Sancho is still training away from the first team due to his falling-out with Ten Hag, and he will again miss out for the Red Devils at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.
