Rashford has faced Villa 12 times at first-team level, boasting a record of nine wins, two draws and one defeat, while he has scored twice and provided two assists against them.

Ten of those matches have taken place in the Premier League, with Rashford having a record of seven wins, twos draw and one defeat, scoring once and providing two assists, while he has also tackled the Lions once in the FA Cup and once in the EFL Cup, with Man United triumphing on each occasion.

The FA Cup meeting came in the third round of the 2021-22 competition, with Rashford playing 85 minutes of a 1-0 Man United win, before he scored in a 4-2 success for the Red Devils at Old Trafford in the third round of the 2022-23 EFL Cup, which Erik ten Hag's side won.

Rashford actually netted on his first-ever Premier League appearance against Villa, registering in a 1-0 Man United victory towards the end of the 2015-16 campaign.

The forward also impressed in both league games between the two teams during the 2019-20 campaign, providing an assist in a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford, before setting up Bruno Fernandes to score in a 3-0 Red Devils success at Villa Park in the reverse game.

Rashford also provided an assist in a 3-1 win for Man United at Villa Park in the latter stages of the 2020-21 season, but he missed both league games in 2021-22 through injury.

The Englishman has helped the Red Devils win three of their their last four games against Villa, including a 3-2 victory at Old Trafford during the 2023-24 campaign, with Rashford again providing an assist.

The forward set up Alejandro Garnacho to make it 2-1 in the 59th minute, and Man United then went on to score twice more to secure a vital three points on home soil.

Rashford also played 73 minutes of a 2-1 success for the Red Devils in the reverse game at Villa Park in February 2024, but he could not help his side overcome Unai Emery's side in a goalless draw in October 2024.
