Real Sociedad lineup vs. Man United: Predicted XI for Europa League last-16 first-leg clash

Real Sociedad could be without three players for Thursday's Europa League last-16 first-leg clash with Manchester United at the Reale Arena.

While Jon Pacheco (muscle) and Arsen Zakharyan (thigh) are set to remain sidelined with injuries, Alvaro Odriozola (unspecified) is a doubt and will be assessed ahead of kickoff.

Sheraldo Becker and Takefusa Kubo both missed last weekend's heavy 4-0 La Liga loss at Barcelona through suspension, but the attacking duo are available for selection on Thursday, with the latter likely to be recalled on the right flank as Ander Barrenetxea continues on the left.

Both Martin Zubimendi and Jon Aramburu missed La Real's 5-2 second-leg win over Midtjylland in the playoff round through suspension, but they are ready to return on Thursday and will likely start in centre-midfield and at right-back respectively, as they did against Barcelona.

Aramburu could be joined in the back four by West Ham United loanee Nayef Aguerd, Igor Zubeldia and Aihen Munoz, while Zubimendi will likely act as the midfield pivot behind Luka Sucic and Brais Mendez.

Imanol Alguacil will weigh up whether to recall top scorer Mikel Oyarzabal, who has nine goals to his name this term, or stick with centre-forward Orri Oskarsson who has netted a team-high four Europa League goals in seven games.
