Harry Redknapp believes that Manchester City are likely to lift the Europa League trophy.

Harry Redknapp has said that Manchester City are more likely to lift the Europa League trophy than Manchester United.

The Spurs boss, whose side are on the verge of elimination from the competition, believes that Roberto Mancini's men have enough depth to continue to compete in Europe, while Sir Alex Ferguson does not.

"I think City will win it if they want to," he said. "Alex won't go with the first team on a Thursday night, will he? But City can change their team.

"Just look at them at Chelsea the other night. You've Nasri on the bench, Dzeko, it's unreal."

Tottenham must beat Shamrock Rovers, hope Rubin Kazan lose to PAOK Salonika and overcome a six-goal deficit to progress to the next round.
