Phil Jones trains with Manchester United ahead of tomorrow's Champions League battle against Real Madrid, despite being an original injury doubt.

Manchester United defender Phil Jones has trained ahead of tomorrow's Champions League bout with Real Madrid, despite originally being a doubt for the game.

The 20-year-old became an injury concern for the Red Devils after he limped off the field during United's 2-0 win over Everton on Sunday.

Despite the initial worry over Jones's fitness, it is understood that he trained with the rest of the squad, which included defender Jonny Evans, who suffered from cramp over the weekend.

Paul Scholes and Ashley Young also took part in the session in preparation for tomorrow's match at the Bernabeu.
