Manchester City youngster Oleksandr Zinchenko says that he "dreams" of playing regularly for the club and is ready to "fight" for a first-team place.

Oleksandr Zinchenko has played down talk of a move away from Manchester City by admitting that he "dreams" of playing regular football for the Premier League champions.

The versatile 21-year-old has been tipped to depart the Etihad Stadium this summer, amid growing interest from Premier League new boys Wolverhampton Wanderers and Fulham.

According to The Mirror, the Citizens accepted a £16m offer from Wolves earlier in the window, but Zinchenko will have the final say on his future and has made it clear that City is where his heart lies.

"To be honest, I think Manchester City is one of the best teams in the world right now," he told reporters on City's pre-season tour of the United States. "Everyone dreams of playing here, and that goes for me as well.

"I try to learn every single day and I'm going to fight here. I'm ready for everything because I have to be professional. You don't know what can happen in the future, but I'm dreaming of staying here. Everyone wants to be part of this team."

Zinchenko started six games for Manchester City and featured a further two times from the bench in last season's title-winning campaign.
