Patrick Vieira: 'Paul Pogba more gifted on the ball than me'

Manchester City youth coach Patrick Vieira has insisted that Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba is much more gifted on the ball than he ever was.

Comparisons have been made between the two players as Pogba's continued development has attracted a number of potential suitors, and Vieira has moved to register his appreciation of the young Frenchman's abilities.

"Physically, we have the same game in terms of style and position," said Vieira, according to the Daily Star.

"But he's much more gifted on the ball than I was and he will also score a lot more goals than me."

City are thought to be interested in the 22-year-old Pogba, who is also being monitored by the likes of Barcelona and Real Madrid.
