Juan Roman Riquelme wants Carlos Tevez at Boca Juniors

Juan Roman Riquelme has revealed that he has urged Carlos Tevez to rejoin Boca Juniors.

Fresh doubt has been cast over Tevez's future at Manchester City after he allegedly missed training to fly to Argentina.

"I have spoken with Carlitos about the situation and I told him, if they are not going to take him into account in Manchester he should come here," Riquelme told FoxSports.

"I think that all of us Boca fans should put money in to be able to bring him back. Either that, or the club should make the effort to bring Carlitos back to Boca."

On Tuesday, Tevez accepted a fine handed out by City over his alleged refusal to warm up during a Champions League match against Bayern Munich.
