Report: Samir Nasri to be offered new Manchester City deal

Manchester City playmaker Samir Nasri is reportedly on the verge of a new contract.

The Frenchman was in impressive form prior to suffering a knee injury against Newcastle United in January that ruled him out for five weeks.

The former Arsenal star recently returned to action and City are keen to tie Nasri down to a long-term deal ahead of the World Cup this summer, according to The Sun.

Nasri's current deal runs out next year.
