Monaco to offload Radamel Falcao to Premier League?

Premier League clubs to swoop for Falcao?

Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea will battle it out for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao, according to a report.

The Colombian striker only signed for the French side in May, but a row with the French footballing authorities regarding tax laws has seen a number of European clubs keep a close eye on the situation.

The two Manchester clubs and Chelsea will pounce should Monaco decide to sell, reports The Express, although they would want to recoup the £50m they paid for him.

According to reports from Marca, Real Madrid have turned down the chance to sign the former Atletico Madrid striker, who is concerned with the club's potential tax issues.

However, Monaco have dismissed reports that the 27-year-old is set to leave to club.

"The club categorically deny rumours about a sale of Falcao," read a message on the club's official Twitter account. "As a reminder, the Colombian attacker has signed with ASMFC for five years."

Falcao scored on his Monaco debut, as his side won 2-0 away at Bordeaux.
