Phil Foden has moved a step closer to signing a new contract with Manchester City, according to a report.
The midfielder has been at the club since the age of four and his current deal runs until the end of the 2023-24 season.
However, since he signed that contract in 2018 he has established himself as a key part of Pep Guardiola's squad and become an England international.
According to The Mirror, Foden's new deal will see him earn £150,000 per week across the next six years at the Etihad Stadium.
The report adds that the new contract was agreed in principle before the international break and is set to be confirmed in the coming days.
Foden, 21, has made 130 appearances and scored 33 goals for Man City since making his debut in November 2017.
