Man City 'will not meet Koulibaly asking price'

Manchester City are reportedly not prepared to meet the £107m asking price for Kalidou Koulibaly, despite suggestions that the Premier League champions were eyeing a swoop for the Napoli centre-back.

Manchester United and Juventus have both been strongly linked with a move for the 27-year-old.

However, last week, it was reported that City were also in the race to sign the Senegal international, who still has four years left to run on his current deal.

According to the Daily Mail, though, Pep Guardiola's side - in the market for a replacement for Vincent Kompany - are not tempted to move for Koulibaly at his £107m asking price.

City have also been strongly linked with a swoop for Leicester City's Harry Maguire. However, it has been reported that the Foxes want as much as £65m for the England international.
