Manchester City target Riyad Mahrez reportedly misses training with Leicester City this morning ahead of tonight's match against Everton.

Riyad Mahrez was reportedly not in the Leicester City squad for a training session this morning ahead of tonight's Premier League game against Everton.

The 26-year-old has reportedly handed in a transfer request amid interest from Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola is believed to be targeting a deadline-day move for Mahrez, who has reportedly been the subject of a third bid worth £55m.

According to The Telegraph, indications are that the Algerian is trying to force a move ahead of this evening's deadline as he did not take part in a light training session this morning.

The Premier League winner expressed a desire to leave the King Power Stadium last summer, but the Foxes did not sanction a move as no clubs met their asking price.
