Vincent Kompany hails Eden Hazard

Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany has hailed the ability of Lille attacking midfielder Eden Hazard.

City are rumoured to be one of a number of clubs interested in the 21-year-old's services and Kompany is convinced that his Belgium teammate could play for any team in the world.

Kompany wrote on Twitter: "My opinion on Eden Hazard is that he can play in any top team in the world, today or tomorrow, as he is an incredibly gifted player."

Hazard has recently been urged to remain in France by Lille teammate Rio Mavuba despite the interest surrounding him.

Manchester United are also rumoured to be strong contenders for Hazard's signature.
