Manchester City reportedly ready to table £20m for Daniele de Rossi

Manchester City are lining up a bid for Roma's Daniele de Rossi, according to reports.

City have reportedly tracked the Italian midfielder for two years and will table an offer of £20m, according to the Daily Mail.

The 29-year-old signed a new five-year contract in February but City manager Roberto Mancini is believed to be unperturbed and City officials think the offer will be enough to do business with Roma.

De Rossi was part of the Italy squad that finished runners-up in Euro 2012.
