Report: Manchester City, Paris Saint-Germain to fight for Kevin De Bruyne

City 'face fight with PSG for De Bruyne'

Manchester City are reportedly prepared to spend £50m in order to sign Wolfsburg winger Kevin De Bruyne, amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Belgian international has become one of the most sought-after players in Europe and has been linked to the likes of City, PSG and Bayern Munich.

City are said to have a long-standing interest in the player, but the Daily Mail claims that PSG met with his agent at the weekend and discussed a potential deal.

The former Premier League champions have vowed to spend significant money this summer, and the report suggests that they will bid as high as £50m for De Bruyne, although PSG will match any financial package.

Wolfsburg still hope to keep the 24-year-old and have opened contract talks this week.

De Bruyne registered 20 assists last season.
