Bayern Munich reportedly still expect to complete a deal for Manchester City forward Leroy Sane in next summer's transfer window.

Bayern Munich will reportedly push to complete a deal for Manchester City forward Leroy Sane in next summer's transfer window.

The Bundesliga champions held talks with City about a potential move for Sane last summer.

However, a knee ligament injury sustained in August, which will keep the German out for another month at least, scuppered any chance of a deal happening.

According to Bild, Bayern expect to resume their pursuit of Sane when the transfer window opens again in June.

Sane, who is valued at around £90m, will have one year left on his current contract at the end of the 2019-20 season.

Reports have suggested that City view Bayern winger Kingsley Coman as an ideal replacement should Sane complete a move to Bavaria.
