AC Milan re-enter talks with Tevez

AC Milan have declared themselves back in the running to sign Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez.

The Italian giants have been vocal about their desire to sign the 27-year-old, but have faced a number of stumbling blocks along the way.

It is believed that the main issue that caused the Serie A side to pull out of a proposed move for the Argentina international was Man City's strong stance on a permanent switch as opposed to a loan deal, which Milan would prefer.

While it seemed inevitable that the frontman would remain at City until the end of the season, it is understood that Milan have re-entered talks with Tevez's representatives, according to Sky Sports News.

Meanwhile, the controversial star has decided to appeal the Premier League leaders' six-week fine.
