Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Manchester City could line up for Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton.

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has a fully-fit squad at his disposal for Saturday's Premier League clash with Everton at the Etihad Stadium.

Erling Haaland started his first game in two months in the 3-1 victory at Brentford on Monday night, and the Norwegian is expected to lead the line once again versus the Toffees.

Manuel Akanji was fit to return to the matchday squad last time out and watched on as an unused substitute; the defender will battle with John Stones – also an unused substitute against the Bees – Ruben Dias and Nathan Ake for a start at centre-back.

Josko Gvardiol will likely retain his place at left-back, while Kyle Walker should get the not to continue at right-back ahead of Rico Lewis.

Lynchpin Rodri acted as the sole pivot anchoring the midfield against Brentford, but should Guardiola – who rarely names an unchanged team for successive games – decide to freshen up his side on Saturday, one of Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes or Bernardo Silva could partner the Spaniard in the middle of the pitch.

Phil Foden starred for Man City last time out with a superb hat-trick, and the Englishman – who scored in the 3-1 win at Everton in December – will likely continue in a fluid attacking lineup alongside Kevin De Bruyne and Julian Alvarez, providing support for central striker Haaland.

Jack Grealish, who started in the reverse fixture against Everton, Jeremy Doku and Oscar Bobb are three more attacking options at Guardiola's disposal who will be pushing to start after beginning as substitutes last time out.

Manchester City possible starting lineup: Ederson; Walker, Dias, Ake, Gvardiol; Rodri; Bernardo, De Bruyne, Alvarez, Foden; Haaland
