Man City's Raheem Sterling 'frustrated' by dropped points at Newcastle United

Manchester City star Raheem Sterling admits that it is "very disappointing" to have dropped points against Newcastle United last night.

Raheem Sterling has bemoaned Manchester City's failure to earn all three points against Newcastle United on Tuesday night.

The North-West outfit were restricted to a 1-1 draw at St James' Park.

City are currently third in the Premier League table, 12 points behind leaders Leicester City and one point above fourth-placed Arsenal with four games left to play.

"It's very disappointing," The Mirror quotes Sterling as saying. "It was a frustrating evening. We had the 1-0 advantage, and for third place, we have to defend a little bit better. That's all of us as a group.

"We know we want to have an automatic Champions League place next season. That's the target for the club, so the two points lost today are quite a loss."

City, who are in the semi-finals of the Champions League, are unbeaten in their last four league games.
