Raheem Sterling offered £100m Nike deal?

Raheem Sterling is reportedly weighing up an offer worth £100m from Nike to become the new face of Air Jordan football boots.

The Manchester City forward, who has one year left on his current deal with Nike, is a globally recognised figure after becoming an indispensable player under Pep Guardiola and England manager Gareth Southgate.

Moreover, Sterling's influence has transcended the game in recent times due to the 24-year-old taking up a powerful public stance against racial discrimination in football, of which he is often a victim.

According to The Telegraph, the deal on offer from Nike could see Sterling receive a remarkable sum of £100m, depending on the length of the contract.

Nike entered the football market only one year ago with the branding of Paris Saint-Germain's kit, which has been a resounding financial success.

On the pitch, Sterling once again played a key role for the Premier League champions over the weekend, scoring a hat-trick as Man City beat West Ham United 5-0 at the London Stadium.
