Mancini: 'I don't have a problem with Hughes'

Roberto Mancini has said that he has no problem with former Citizens boss Mark Hughes.

Hughes recently criticised the Manchester City boss, describing his style of management as "autocratic" in the fallout of the Carlos Tevez saga.

However, Mancini has insisted that every manager has their own personal style and that he respects every opinion.

"I don't know Mark Hughes and he doesn't know me," he said. "But I'm happy when he talks to the newspapers because, before every game that he talks, we win 6-1 and 4-1. Every game.

"So if he talks about me before every game, I'd be very happy.

"Every manager has his method and his own behaviour. I respect every opinion. I don't have any problem."

The Italian, who replaced Hughes in the middle of the 2009/10 campaign, has led his side to a five-point lead at the top of the Premier League this season.
