Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini insists that he was "agreeing" with Joe Hart's criticism of their Champions League defeat.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has insisted that he has not fallen out with goalkeeper Joe Hart following the shotstopper's harsh criticism of his teammates.

The England number one hit out at the Premier League winners after they relinquished a 2-1 lead over Real Madrid to lose 3-2 at the Bernabeu in the Champions League on Tuesday.

Mancini later responded to Hart's comments by stating that he was the only one allowed to criticise the team.

"I don't have any problem with Joe," said Mancini. "I was agreeing with him."

The Italian coach has also dismissed reports that he is involved in another rift with striker Mario Balotelli.
