Roberto Mancini: 'Manchester City are better than Manchester United'

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini believes that his side are "much better" than Manchester United.

The defending Premier League champions lost 3-2 to the Red Devils at home on Sunday to fall six points behind them in second place in the table.

"United have more experience but we have a much better team and play much better football," the Daily Mail quotes him as saying.

City will take on Newcastle United away from home in the Premier League on Saturday.
