Manchester City playmaker Kevin De Bruyne has claimed that his side deserved their 3-1 victory over West Ham United this afternoon.
City scored two goals in the opening 20 minutes to take control of the contest, but saw West Ham fight back in the second half when Michail Antonio halved the deficit.
However, Man City finally wrapped up the victory in stoppage time courtesy of Raheem Sterling's second of the game, and De Bruyne believes that the number of chances they created bodes well for the rest of the campaign.
"I think the first half was really good. West Ham didn't have many chances, you knew they were going to come into more after half time but overall I think we deserved it," he told reporters.
"We created quite a lot of chances, all the players played really well through the lines which makes it really difficult for the other team to defend. If we can keep it up we will create a lot of chances this season."
City have now won all three of their Premier League outings under Pep Guardiola, taking them to the top of the table.
