The chairman of the Manchester City supporters club, Kevin Parker, has admitted that the club's fans are furious about the appointment of referee Howard Webb for Sunday's clash with Newcastle United.
The South Yorkshire official has a reputation for favouring Manchester United in the past, and Parker has admitted that he shares those concerns.
"History tells us he has generally favoured United. City fans do feel that. We'll just have to hope that isn't reflected on Sunday as it's such a huge day for Manchester City," he told The Sun.
City currently lead the Premier League table on goal difference.
