Manchester City team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole rounds up Manchester City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their EFL Cup third-round tie with Bournemouth.

Manchester City face a quick turnaround in fixtures as they prepare to take on Bournemouth in the third round of the EFL Cup on Thursday evening.

The Citizens belatedly kicked off their 2020-21 Premier League campaign with a deserved 3-1 win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Monday.

A big meeting with a perfect Leicester City side awaits next weekend, and boss Pep Guardiola has already vowed to play his youngsters in this tie with Bournemouth.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up City's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the midweek match.

Sergio Aguero

City's all-time record goalscorer Sergio Aguero has been on the sidelines since undergoing knee surgery towards the end of June. Guardiola revealed last week that Aguero may be out for another two months.
